Why I Started GSL Design

I started building websites in 2003 because I saw local businesses paying too much for sites that didn't work. Twenty years later, the problem is worse. Agencies charge $15K for template installs. Freelancers ghost after launch. AI tools spit out generic pages that all look the same. GSL Design exists because Yuma businesses deserve better than that.

How I Think About Websites

Your website isn't a brochure. It's a machine. Every page has a job — attract the right visitor, answer their questions, earn their trust, and move them toward picking up the phone or filling out a form. If a page doesn't do that job, it gets rebuilt until it does.

Yes. I'm the designer, developer, and strategist. For specialized needs like copywriting, photography, or complex backend work, I bring in trusted partners I've worked with for years. But I manage every project personally and I'm your single point of contact throughout.

I take on a limited number of projects at a time — typically three to four active builds. This lets me give each client focused attention instead of spreading thin. If my calendar is full, I'll be upfront about timeline rather than overpromise.

I'm based in Yuma and know this market deeply, but I work with clients across Arizona and nationwide. About 40% of my projects are outside the Yuma area. Geography doesn't limit what we can build together.
